Could you be on House Hunters?

If you're buying a home in Gainesville or North Florida, you could be featured on HGTV's House Hunters with me as your Realtor®. It's the same home search you'd do anyway, plus a shot at a one-of-a-kind experience and a keepsake episode. I handle the application and pitch your story. You just raise your hand.

Run of Show

From your search to the screen.

Scene 01

We team up on your search

You buy a home in the Gainesville area with me as your agent, exactly as you would anyway.

Scene 02

I pitch your story

I write a specific, story-rich application featuring you, your search, and what makes our area special, and send it to the production company.

Scene 03

Casting decides

The show's team picks the buyers and stories they want to feature. I keep you posted and follow up on our application.

Scene 04

Lights, camera, tour

If you're chosen, filming spans a few days: touring homes, weighing the trade-offs, and the big decision, all with me guiding you on camera.

Casting Criteria

What casting looks for.

You don't need to be a TV person. The best candidates are simply real, expressive buyers with a good story. You're likely a great fit if you're:

  • A couple or pair (partners, friends, or family) who don't always agree on the must-haves
  • Buying in Gainesville, Alachua County, or nearby North Florida
  • Actively shopping and close to a decision, ideally under contract or nearly there
  • Relocating for UF or UF Health, buying a first home, or moving up for a growing family
  • Comfortable being yourself on camera and up for a few days of filming
The Fine Print

The honest details.

I want you to go in with clear eyes. Filming typically spans a few days and takes some patience, since scenes are set up for television. Featured buyers usually receive a modest stipend from the production rather than a large payment, so the real reward is the experience and the episode itself.

You'll sign the network's standard release forms, and the final decision on who's featured belongs to the show's casting team, not to me. My job is to give you a great home-buying experience and to make our application as strong as it can be. Whatever happens with casting, you get my full attention as your Realtor®.

Q & A

Common questions.

House Hunters features real buyers working with a local agent, so the way onto the show is to be buying a home with an agent who applies on your behalf. If you're planning to buy in Gainesville or North Florida, I can submit an application featuring your search to the production company. Selection is up to the network's casting team, but I handle the pitch and guide you through the whole process.
